Jake Bongiovi has been dating Millie Bobby Brown for over a year, and it seems that his father, musician Jon Bon Jovi, approves of their relationship.

This was confirmed when a source close to the singer’s frontman told Hollywood Life,

“Jake Bongiovi’s famous father Jon is very supportive of his relationship with Millie and so is his mom, Dorothea.”

Rumors of their romance began circulating in June 2021, before they went public in November 2021.

The Hollywood Life source shared,

“Millie has met Jake’s entire family, and they all adore her. They couldn’t be happier that he's with such a beautiful, caring, and loving woman.”

Jake Bongiovi currently attends Syracuse University in his second year and intends to earn a doctorate.

Jon Bon Jovi and his wife, Dorothea, were around the same age as Millie and Jake when they began dating in the '80s. The Hollywood Life source says that the music sensation believes his son and the "Stranger Things" star might be following in his footsteps.

“A lot of people believe that Jake and Millie are just experiencing young puppy love and that it won’t last, but Jake’s parents know that it can."
