The hilarious actors Josh Gad and Isla Fisher will meet on the screen in Peacock's newest rom-com Wolf Like Me (2022-) created by Abe Forsythe.

Starring Josh Gad and Isla Fisher

Josh Gad, widely known as LeFou in Beauty and the Beast (2017) and Olaf in Frozen (2013), plays Gary, a widowed father barely getting by after the death of his wife in the new series.

Isla Fisher plays Gad's opposite, Mary, a woman with a deep dark secret. Fisher is best known for her work on Wedding Crashers (2005) and Confessions of a Shopaholic (2009).

As well as starring in the series, Fisher and Gad will also be executive producers.

Created by Abe Forsythe

Creator Abe Forsythe will also be writing and directing the six-episode season. Forsythe speaks of working with Gad, Fisher, and the production team stating,

"I'm so excited to have Isla and Josh on board, and I know the audience will be surprised seeing them in a different way as these characters. I was never going to tell this story with anyone other than Made Up Stories, and I feel very fortunate for us all to be teaming up with Endeavor Content and to have found a home with Peacock and Stan."

Forsythe has been in the writing position before on Little Monsters (2019), a project that happens to star Josh Gad.

Ordered Straight to Series

Peacock sent the series straight to series with the president of scripted content at NBCUniversal Television and Streaming Lisa Katz stating,

"We fell in love with Abe Forsythe's imaginative storytelling and gift for creating complex and compelling characters. With the incredibly talented Isla Fisher and Josh Gad at the center, Wolf Like Me will be engaging, quirky and wholly original."

With no official release date, Wolf Like Me is set to stream on Peacock sometime in 2022.
