The 86-year-old actress shared on Thursday that she has received her first dose of the Coronavirus vaccine.


The Oscar-winning actress is known for her roles such as Queen Elizabeth in Shakespeare in Love, M in Skyfall, Barbara Covett in Notes on a Scandal, and much more.

The star shared that she recently began filming Kenneth Branagh's drama "Belfast" in Ireland. According to the Daily Mail, Dench noted everyone on set strictly followed precautions. She said:

'We were all incredible lines to each other, taking every precaution. Everybody wore masks and everything. So we were well looked after.'

Dench told the BBC that with being able to get back to work, she has experienced "relief" and "joy."
