The cast of Inventing Anna chat all about the new series!
Created and produced by the fascinating Shonda Rhimes, the story sees journalist Vivian Kent investigate a supposed German heiress that's a wannabe socialite thriving off of New York's richest.
Rhimes, who has created work of arts such as Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, How to Get Away With Murder and Bridgerton, acquired the rights of this show from Netflix in 2018.
Ozark's Julia Garner plays the role of con artist Anna Delvey, aka Anna Sorokin, in the nine-part drama along with some help from talented cast members.
Anna Chlumsky takes on the role of Vivian, a character that was influenced by real-life journalist Jessica Pressler who actually wrote about Delvey's story. Scandal's Katie Lowes is back in action with Rhimes as she portrays Anna's friend and Orange is the New Black 's Laverne Cox plays fitness trainer Kacy Duke.
"It's great. When I first read that, I saw that that was going to be a through line. I was just like "Shonda's a genius, she's a genius." It's been music to my ears," Chlumsky said.
"I mean it just feels like home. It just feels like safe and fun and loud. It just feels like family," Cox said.
