'Jurassic World Dominion' First Trailer Reveals Return of Original Cast

Jurassic World Dominion - Official Trailer [HD]

Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum return to blockbuster franchise.

Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park is one of the most known and revered films of all time. The movie had two sequels in its time, and was rebooted in 2015 for a new series starring Chris Pratt. Now, old is meeting new as the revival franchise just released the trailer for its third installment, Jurassic World Dominion.

Jurassic Park has always had its humans and dinos interacting on a singular island. Jurassic World Dominion promises to change that. The end of the previous movie, Fallen Kingdom, had dinosaurs and humans collide as they were tasked with finding how to coexist in the world. In Dominion, for the first time, dinosaurs come to the mainland and wreak havoc on humanity.

The trailer shows Chris Pratt back in action as he and his costars are taken from cities to snowy landscapes, always thwarted by their prehistoric adversaries. Bryce Dallas Howard and BD Wong are back, but they're not all who are returning.

The trailer also reveals that the stars of the very first Jurassic Park movie will return for Dominion, and get involved directly in the action. Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum are all back to save the world from being overrun by their creations.

The end of the trailer showed a scene reminiscent of one in the original film, where the cast must stay perfectly still in order to evade a tyrannosaurus rex. Goldblum remarks, as a throwback to the moment,

“Bigger … why do they always have to go bigger?”

Dominion promises to be a bigger than any Jurassic Park movie yet, and the box office promises an even bigger revenue stream for Universal as everyone attempts to return to theaters. A fitting setting for the last installment in the Jurassic universe.

Jurassic World Dominion premieres exclusively in theaters June 10.
