Kanye West

Kanye West is now among the many celebrities who have stepped up to help the families of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd.

West is stepping up donating $2 million to the families of Arbery,Taylor, and Floyd. West has also set up a college fund for Floyd's six year old daughter Gianna and made separate donations to help with the legal fees for Arbery and Taylor's families. On top of that, West donated to black owned businesses around the country, especially in Chicago, his hometown.

However, West did not stop there. He was also seen on Thursday evening at a Chicago protest. His selflessness to help in a situation as terrible as this one shows the importance of celebrity involvement during this time.

Some other stars that have donated large sums of money recently include The Weeknd, Drake, and Chrissy Teigen. At such an unfortunate time, it is inspiring to see how Kanye, among so many other celebrities are using their platforms to help create change.
