Kanye West Suspended From Instagram After Pete Davidson Attacks

For just twenty four hours, the world is blessed with silence from @kanyewest

Kanye West has been suspended from Instagram...for 24 hours.

The rapper has been in the news lately for his seemingly never-ending string of attacks against his ex wife Kim Kardashian's new boyfriend, Pete Davidson.

Instagram confirmed that @kanyewest was restricted for "repeated violation of the platform’s rules on hate speech, bullying and harassment." West is unable to post, comment, or send DMs in the allotted time period.

The platform also removed the posts that violated their rules, which included an old article featuring a crude joke from the comedian about having sex with a baby. West commented with the link,

“Yet another reason why SKETE gotta stay away from my children. Oh and nobody noticed that he ain’t show up to SNL Because Mr. I can help you with meds had a mental breakdown after we ran him off the internet.”

Davidson has reportedly been on hiatus from "SNL" to film his upcoming thriller film "The Home." West claimed in following posts that Davidson would get Kardashian “hooked on drugs,” because he’s “in rehab every two months.”

He added,

“SKETE you not built for this I already blacked the Super Bowl out on you… Apologize to your family for being in your family.”

West also targeted comedian Trevor Noah, and Davidson's "SNL" cast member, Michael Che. The posts of his that were removed contained racial slurs aimed at Noah. West wrote about Che,

“This grown ass man picked this outfit out himself Is he influential or under the influence???”

West has yet to comment, or post on any other social media platforms about the incident. He's been inactive on his Twitter since his failed presidential bid in 2020. Instagram's spokesperson confirmed the company would "consider taking further action if West continues to violate Instagram’s rules."
