Ellen Degeneres has recently announced that her Emmy-winning talkshow will be coming to an end... and now, its been revealed that her NBC time slot will be filled in by the one and only Kelly Clarkson!


The Grammy-winning singer kicked off her self-titled talkshow, The Kelly Clarkson Show, in September 2019 and is currently taking on her second season. The show has been renewed for an additional two seasons, which will run through 2023.

Valari Staab, president of NBCUniversal Local, said:

"These are remarkable achievements for a talk show in its second season. We look forward to Ellen DeGeneres' 19th season paired with Kelly Clarkson for what is sure to be a blockbuster year. By 2022, The Kelly Clarkson Show will be the star of our daytime entertainment schedules and an asset to our early afternoon newscasts."

The Ellen Degeneres Show will officially come to an end after 19 seasons in Spring 2022.
