For his seventh birthday today, Kensington Palace released two new photos of Prince George taken by his mother, Kate Middleton.
The Duchess of Cambridge rarely shares photos of her three children with the public, but has been known to take a few snapshots on special occasions. Kensington Palace issued the two new photos as a celebration for the young prince's special day.
Kensington Palace released a statement about the new photos saying:
"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share two new photographs of Prince George ahead of his seventh birthday tomorrow."

The photos were shared on the official Twitter account for Prince William and Princess Kate - the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The first shows Prince George posing for his portrait with a toothy grin.

The second shows the young boy donning a camouflage shirt with windswept hair as his parents thank the public for their kind birthday wishes.
