Kristen Wiig's new comedy has finally released its first official teaser trailer!
Barb & Star Go To Vista Del Mar is headed for digital release. The new comedy film, which was initially set for release summer 2021, has moved up its premiere date to February 12th. Starring Bridesmaids screenwriters Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumalo as "Star" and "Barb," alongside Jamie Dornan, Damon Wayans and Wendi McLendon-Covey, Barb & Star Go To Vista Del Mar follows the buddy comedy adventure of two best friends, as they leave their midwestern hometown for a vacation in Del Mar, Florida.
Though the teaser does not actually reveal much about the movie, it gives us a glimpse into Wiig and Mumalo's characters.
In the teaser, Wiig says:
"Barb! What if we had a movie?"
Wiig goes on to say:
"I would't want to give anything away about the movie."
Considering the trailer doesn't even show their faces, it looks like they've nailed it right on the head.
