Comedian Lilly Singh has been hospitalized.

On Wednesday night, Singh took to Instagram, posting a video of herself in the emergency room. Laying on a hospital bed, she can be seen rolling her eyes while Smokin Out the Window by Anderson Paak and Bruno Mars plays. In true comedic fashion, she updated her fans on the situation with the caption,

"Spent the last day in the ER because my ovaries have the AUDACITY to be wilding out. Both of them have cysts. And I'm just out here like REALLY B?! Let me understand this. You're going to make me suffer once a month and then IN ADDITION, stab me in between periods?! LOLOLOLOL. WOW. THE ENTITLEMENT… the NERVE. IM WEAKKKK…."

On a serious note, she added,

"No but actually. It hurts and I'm tired lol but I truly expect nothing less than my organs doing the most. After all I am their mother."

Ovarian cysts can range from mild to serious, often going undiagnosed in women who write off the pain as regular menstrual cramps. More often than not, they can be incredibly painful.

Singh has been very open about her health and wellbeing in the past. In 2015, she got candid in a video detailing her experience with depression, stating,

"It was difficult to include it, but the reason I started making videos was because I was coming out of depression – and I thought there's probably so many other people out there that experience the exact same thing and no one talks about it. It's nothing to be ashamed about. It's a part of life – the ups-and-downs – and I really wanted people to start talking about it so I thought I'm going to lead by example. I'm going to openly talk about it."
