In December 2001, a ring arrived in movie theaters to rule them all and our lives changed forever. Now, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Lord Of The Rings, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema brings us a reunion with the cast we simply cannot miss.
Middle-Earth's cast is coming back for three weeks to celebrate The Lord Of The Rings, beginning March 25th with the first installment The Fellowship Of The Ring. The cast of the film will have conversations about the iconic trilogy right after the movies are played in the theaters and there's also a great surprise.
The trilogy is completely remastered in 4k and the Q&A reunion will happen exclusively for theatrical screenings. Alamo Drafthouse's goal is clear: to support movie theaters. This year has indeed been problematic for the support of cinemas and Alamo Drafthouse hopes to bring back some old magic to rightfully support the arts with a cult loved by many.
The schedule for the Q&A cast reunion is the following:
As vaccination proceeds, Alamo Drafthouse will keep offering special events like this one to celebrate the reopening of movie theaters. But that's not all -- we're going to be able to see Q&A with cast members, directors, commentaries and behind-the-scenes for free to any cinema in the world!
By the end of April, the Q&A will be available as Your Own Private Alamo bookings, where you can book online a personalized theatre for you, family and friends. But in case you won't be able to attend in person, don't be discouraged! The interviews and Q&As will be available online later on.
You can buy the tickets here!
We'll forever be grateful to Alamo Drafthouse for bringing back an iconic trilogy in a new light, while supporting theaters in such arduous times.
