Lorde has just announced that she will be releasing new music later this year. Fans have been waiting since 2017 when her last album came out, for this announcement.

The "Royals" singer, has been pretty much inactive on social media since 2018, leaving her fans guessing and wondering when she would finally come out with new music.

She recently updated her website with an image that reads "Solar Power", which most likely signifies a single or album. Underneath the image it says, "Arriving in 2021 ... Patience is a virtue"

New music has been highly anticipated especially after Lorde was recently announced as a headliner for Primavera Sound in Barcelona next year.

Although Lorde hasn't put out any new music in the last few years, her older songs on past albums Pure Heroine and Melodrama has remained favored among listeners.

There is no set date for when the music will arrive yet.
