'RHONY' Star Luann De Lesseps Tells All To Jenny McCarthy On Sirius XM

Real Housewives of New York City star Luann de Lesseps tells all in SiriusXM interview.

Luann de Lesseps called into SiriusXM's The Jenny McCarthy Show for an interview revealing details about the current season of the Real Housewives of New York City, the drama with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Denise Richards, and her new dance song "Viva La Diva."

Luann de Lesseps on Denise Richards

The RHONY star shared how she caught a bit of the drama on RHOBH with Denise Richards and Brandi Glanville. She goes on by telling McCarthy how she feels empathy for Richards:

"I kind of feel bad for Denise, she really got caught in a precarious situation, but you know I don't see what's wrong with that. I mean we live in such a world today where why not just cop to it, be like 'okay so I slept with Brandi who cares?'"

McCarthy goes on by asking De Lesseps' thoughts on when Richards' acted out and wanted to get her statements edited out of the show. She responded by saying how even with multiple attempts, reality television is transforming to where they won't edit those moments out in the show:

"She thought if she did that, they wouldn't use it, but guess what, they're breaking that fourth wall down more and more these days. Look at how we started the season and we talked about Bethany who's not there and about how we found out that she wasn't coming back through the press."

Lesseps on Leah's Apartment

McCarthy brought up when De Lesseps called out co-star Leah McSweeney's apartment saying it was small. Putting speculations of tension between the two to rest, the star confirmed that it was all in good-heart with no bad intentions:

"I mean she was literally living in a really small space, which you couldn't tell on the show. It's so funny because you see it on the show and you're like what's wrong with her apartment and I felt so bad."

The co-stars exchanged texts setting the record straight that they are still good friends and do not have any ill will towards each other especially during the ongoing pandemic. De Lesseps continues to praise McSweeney on how she holds herself up:

"It's not an easy group to step into and I feel like as a new housewife that she can really hold her own and I've said this before about her, she's a mother, she works hard, has her own business, but at the same time is very vulnerable."

Lesseps' New Dance Song

When asked if De Lesseps has any new music coming out, she announced her new dance single "Viva La Diva" is set to come out August 20th. Produced by Grammy winning artist Desmond Child, the RHONY star is ecstatic about the upcoming release and the music video going along with the song:

"Child has done 'Livin La Vida Loca' and 'Living On a Prayer', he's a grammy winning artist and performer himself and I'm super excited about that."
