Maahra Hill Talks Female Empowerment & Starring In Oprah Winfrey's New Series 'Delilah' | CPTV

Maahra is the embodiment of strength and grace as a woman of color raising a family, while pursuing a demanding career.

The Oprah Winfrey Network is adding a new drama to its programming this month and it is the perfect vehicle for star Maahra Hill.

The nexus of female empowerment, motherhood, and high-profile professional, Maahra Hill plays attorney Delilah Connolly, an attorney who has left behind the chaos of a high-powered law firm for her own practice in an effort to put more focus on her family. The concept is aligned perfectly with the #SeeHer mission, and as Maahra states simply;

"You have to be able to see this thing to know that you can be it."

Maahra also relates to the "Every Woman" theme of resilience while balancing life and letting your voice be heard. Using her own experience as a guidepost for other women Maahra offers;

"First of all, in my particular story, it's just never too late, you know? You can always do whatever it is that you want to do whenever you want to do it."

The series brings the creative talent of Executive Producer Oprah Winfrey and #Greenleaf creator Craig Wright. In keeping with the signature she places on her brand, Oprah was heavily involved every step of the way, even down to the selection of the linens.

#Delilah premieres Tuesday, March 9th on #OWN.
