Macy's Thanksgiving Parade

NBC

A brand new spectacle awaits us -- the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade will take the streets of New York City and officially introduce the holiday season on November 25th.

For decades, Macy's Parade has been the center of attention and the most highly anticipated celebration of the year.

Now, the 95th march of the Parade is arriving stronger than ever with 15 giant character balloons, 28 floats, 36 novelty and heritage inflatables, more than 800 clowns, 10 marching bands and 9 performance groups, host of musical stars and, of course, Santa Claus.

But surprises don't end here...

Broadway's best musicals will perform at the Parade, including SIX, Moulin Rouge and longtime hit Wicked. There's also going to be a sneak preview of NBC's Annie Live!

The excitement grows, especially for the ones who are organizing the big event that will glue viewers to the screen. Executive Vice President, Special Programs, NBCU Television and Streaming, Doug Vaughan, stated the following:

"The Macy's Thanksgiving Parade is an incredible tradition and we take great pride in bringing it to viewers each year as they celebrate the kickoff of the holiday season."

Furthermore, the Parade will feature special performances, such as one from music superstar Carrie Underwood, who will play some of the songs from her latest album "My Gift (Special Edition)."
