Actor Mark Wahlberg shared a post to Instagram on Monday showing off his transformation for a movie role.

About a month ago, Mark Wahlberg told Jimmy Kimmel on his show that he was ready to gain 30 pounds in six weeks for his role in the upcoming film Father Stu by eating "everything in sight." He plays a boxer-turned-priest, Wahlberg shared:

"After we do the boxing scenes, I get to put on as much weight as possible over the course of the film, so I'm challenging myself to put on 30 pounds in the next six weeks."

The actor, who is well known for his strict diet and workout regime, told Kimmel in April he was looking forward to taking a break from it and indulge:

"They want me to do it as healthy as possible and I'm like 'Dude, I've been on such a regimen for so long, I just want to eat everything in sight. I want to go bakeries. I want to go to Denny's. I want to get pancakes. I want to get everything I can possibly get my hands on."

Well, it looks like the star has fast-tracked his way there by the looks of his post to social medias earlier this week.

His May 1 post also gave followers and fans some insight on his journey there, writing:

"I'm going up another 20. Yes it's for a role."
