The Emmy-winning Actor Is Busy This Year On Both TV and Film

Is there anything Martin Freeman can't do? This month he brings back his hit comedy Breeders for a third season. And later this year he returns to Wakanda for the second Black Panther film.

Breeders Season 3 - Mondays on FX & Hulu

Breeders is one of the most honest family comedies you will ever see. Martin Freeman and Daisy Haggard star as a couple who love each other a lot, but constantly make mistakes both in their marriage and with their two kids. The show is now in its third season on FX. In the new episodes we see Martin's character moving out of their home, leaving fans to wonder if the marriage and the family is now beyond repair. Check out my interview at the top of the page with Martin and Daisy about why they love this show and their characters so much.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever - In Theaters November 11th

When we lost the great Chadwick Boseman, it seemed impossible to believe that Marvel would make another Black Panther film. But, in fact, they have! Wakanda Forever is scheduled to be released on November 11th.

Martin Freeman will reprise his role from the original film, as CIA Agent Everett Ross.

I asked Martin what it was like to shoot the film without Chadwick there. Here's what he told me:

"I can tell you it's coming and I'm in it. It was a weird one because like most things we do everyone tries, is still bringing their best game. We want to be enjoying ourselves and it was still really enjoyable. But there is no doubt there was a hole in it. It was odd. It was odd, as well as being brilliant and (director) Ryan Coogler is still a fantastic captain of the ship. I had a really good time, but there's no question that obviously it was different. Obviously. And it was, there was a big missing piece of course. There's no getting around that. And it doesn't mean that the thing ends and it doesn't mean that we all just have to give up doing it anymore obviously. But there is no question there is a big piece missing at the heart of it. And that was imbued with the appropriate respect for that. But also the appropriate respect for the story and the world where we carry on. There's no other alternative is there. We have to carry on when we lose people".
