The Bourne Identity star has recently teamed up with Affleck professionally to write the upcoming movie The Last Duel, marking the first time the friends have written together since the late 90's writing the Academy Award-winning film Good Will Hunting.

It was so fun man," Matt told Jess Cagle of his collaboration. "And it was an entirely different experience because we had no idea what we were doing last time. And we knew nothing about like structure or anything. We were just like writing scenes and jamming them together. And, you know, so it was a really inefficient way to write. And I think we avoided writing together all these years cause we both, each of us were like, 'Well, we'd never have time to do that."

Damon also confirmed that he will indeed be reprising his role as "actor Loki" in Thor: Love and Thunder admitting he didn't know if it was meant to be kept secret.

"I don't know if it's secret or not though everybody knows," Damon gushed. "I went down there to shoot. And, uh, I think they sussed out, cause paparazzi took pictures of us so that they sussed out what we were doing. We were kind of reprising a cameo that we, that Luke Hemsworth and I did in the last one. And we had, we had a ball and so Taika [Waititi] had us back again to kind of, to kind of run that joke back and, and, and, and upgraded a little bit."

Damon will make his cameo in Thor: Love and Thunder in May of 2022.
