The highly anticipated interview with Meghan Markle, Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey finally arrived Sunday night, exposing royal details of the way they lived, the alleged false slander against Meghan Markle in British tabloids and her feelings towards all things that has happened over the past two years.

It was a night where "no topic was off-limits" and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex talked about everything they could. From the minute Markle stepped foot in the palace her life was changed forever. The interview did not have much small talk before doing right into the questions everyone was waiting to hear.

Oprah made a point to note that Markle was not getting paid for this interview and that she had agreed to not see the questions before this making it the first time she was hearing them.

From top to bottom, we have the biggest revelations, topics and recap of what the interview all entailed.

The infamous royal wedding:

"I just tried to make it fun and light and remind ourselves this was our day, but I think we were both aware even in advance of that this wasn't 'our' day. This was a day that was planned for the world," Markle said.

She explained that this night was more than just a wedding. It was a night for the world to see. Markle revealed that three days prior to the royal wedding, Prince Harry and had their own wedding. They called the Archbishop of Canterbury and told him that they wanted a ceremony that involved just themselves. The two of them in their backyard.

Step one of being royal: learn to curtsy.

Although, learning to curtsy might seem to be only in the fairytales, it is definitely not. Markle stated in the interview that she needed to learn to curse just minutes before meeting the Queen for the first time.

she explained that Prince Harry and her were in Windsor while the Queen was finishing up a church service and would be at the house after. Harry and her were in the car and he asked her if she was ready to meet her. Markle thought "'Oh, great. I loved my grandmother. I used to take care of her," not realizing the level of power this particular grandma had.

Then Prince Harry asked Markle if she knew how to curtsy. "I thought, genuinely, that was what happened outside. I thought that was part of the fanfare," Markle said. "I didn't know that's what happens inside." "But it's your grandmother," Markle said, to which Prince Harry said, "It's the queen."

Meghan said she went into the royal family naive.

"I will say I went into [this marriage] naively because I didn't grow up knowing much about the royal family," Markle said to Winfrey.

she said she had never don't any research prior to her marriage to the royal family. A google search was not in the books. "I've never looked up my husband online," she said. "Everything we thought I needed to know, he was telling me."

Markle told Winfrey that she had thought shed known everything, but being from the U.S. and not seeing the Royals in the light that people in the U.K. do, it was very awakening. She did not fully understand the meaning of being a working royal. The day-to-day jobs were not on the itinerary you could find online.

Meghan making Kate Middleton cry was actually the reverse.

Rumors ran like wildfire when the press wrote that Meghan had make Kate Middleton cry over flower girl dresses. Markle quickly came to her defense saying, "The narrative with Kate, which didn't happen, was really, really difficult. I think that's when everything changed, really." Markle never made Middleton cry. "The reverse happened."

It was a "turning point" for the Duchess. She explained that the week of the wedding was s very stressful one and tension were high, leading to Middletone to be upset about the flower girl dresses.

"She owned it and she apologized, and she brought me flowers and a note apologizing. She did what I would do if I knew I hurt someone. To just take accountability for it…I would've never wanted that to come out about her," Markle continued. "Ever. Even thought it had happened. I protected that from ever being out in the world."

Markle stated that she had forgiven Middleton for the dilemma, but her biggest concern was the fact that she was the one being blamed in the media for something she had not done.

The skin color of Meghan and Harry's baby sparked conversation.

Markle stated that there was conversations about how dark the skin of her first born child might be and what it could mean for their family. Winfrey was taken back in shock that it was eve brought up asking "who" were having conversations like that. Markle did not give an answer as she said "I think that would be very damaging to them."

Oprah had asked Prince Harry about the situation when he arrived to the interview wanting him to give details on what the conversation was like. "That conversation, I'm never going to share. But the timing was awkward; I was a bit shocked." He continued explained that it was near the beginning of the time when Markle was not going to get security from the family. "Members of my family were suggesting that she carries on acting because there's not enough money to pay for her. There were some real obvious signs before we got married that this was going to be really hard."

Baby Archie stripped of being a prince, and even lost security.

In the interview, Markle pointed out that the palace was not on board with making Archie, their first born son, a prince. The news was told to Markle with no explanation. "It was a decision they felt was appropriate," she said. The safety of her child was a big concern for Markle as she had received the news a few months before the baby was set to arrive.

Naming her son a prince was the least of her concerns throughout the whole process. "If it meant he was going to be safe, then of course. All the grandeur surrounding this stuff is an attachment I don't personally have."

Markle talked about her mental struggle and suicide thoughts.

"I didn't want to live anymore," Markle said to Winfrey. The media that was giving her slander and hurting her name had made it difficult for her mental health. "I was really ashamed to say it at the time and ashamed to have to admit it to Harry, especially because I know how much loss he's suffered. But I knew that if I didn't say it, that I would do it," she said explaining the thought of self-harm. "I just didn't want to be alive anymore, and that was a very clear and real and frightening constant thought."

She said that she wanted help and had gone to someone of seniority at the royal palace. The response was that she can not go because it would not look right on the institution. "I share this because there are so many people who are afraid to voice that they need help," Markle said.

Since Markle was not a paid member of the royal family, she was not able to have any help, the Human Resources of the royal institution said. But, Markle gained support through a friend of the late Princess Diana.

Markle had told Harry about her thoughts and wanted him to make sure that she stays on track. He asked her if she wanted to miss an event and her response was ""I can't be left alone."

Harry explained that he was not prepared to hear such news and revealed that he "went to a very dark place as well. I wanted to be there for her." Going to the family was not an option for him Harry admitted as he was ashamed of admitting out loud. Harry described his reason for holding back on telling was more than just the mental health part of it, it was the "race element" that hurt him.

"The way that I saw it…there was an opportunity, many opportunities, for my family to show some public support," Harry said explaining how Meghan isa person who represents so much m=for many people across the world.

They are having a Girl!

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed the baby's gender together on air as it is their second child. "Just grateful…to have a boy and then a girl, what more can you ask for? We've got our family," Harry said. This is there last child as they only had plans for two kids.

Explanation on why why Meghan and Harry left their royal duties.

The ultimate reason as to why they left is because they were not gaining the support that they were asking for. "We were saying, 'Okay, if this isn't working for everyone. We're in a lot of pain. You can't provide us with the help that we need. We can just take a step back. We can do it in a Commonwealth country," Meghan said.

Prince harry stepped in and stated that he needed a break from the suffering they have shared. "My biggest concern was history repeating itself," he said in relation to his mother, Princess Dianas death. "And what I was seeing was history repeating itself, but far more dangerous because you add race and social media in."

From the tabloids to the lack of support from the royal institution, they said they had to find a way to escape the attacks.

Financials were cut off from Prince Harry in the beginning of 2020

Harry explained to Oprah that since the news of leaving the royal duties, his financials were cut-off from him as well as his security. He explained that he never thought the day would come that his security was going to be taken from him. Meghan even had written a letter to the family explaining why Harry still deserved security, but Archie is fine without it. They said back tot her that it was not an option.

A little down the road Harry's financial supply from the family was cut in the first quarter of 2020. He revealed that he was able to move to California and survive because of the money Princess Diana had left him.

" "I'm just really relieved and happy to be sitting here, talking to you with my wife by my side because I can't begin to imagine what it must've been like for [my mother] going through this process by herself all the years ago," Harry said.

Family relationship and brother Prince William

Speaking to the family is not the top of concern. They did not leave the family, they left their royal duties. "I've spoken more to my grandmother in the last year than I have for many, many years," Prince Harry said. The relationship with his father is still being built. "I feel really let down because he's been through something similar. He knows what pain feels like, and Archie's his grandson. But at the same time, I will always love him.

Prince William and him will be fine he says, "He's my brother; we've been through hell together."
