Michael B.Jordan Set to Direct 'Creed 3'

The news was confirmed by one of the stars Tessa Thompson.

Michael B. Jordan will not only be starring in the highly anticipated third film, but will be directing as well. In an interview with MTV's Josh Horowitz while promoting her latest film Sylvie's Love she stated that:

He is directing the next Creed,

They were joking about Jordan's title being crowned the Sexiest Man Alive. Thompson also stated:

It's going to be ammo, I think, for me when he is engaging with me as a director. I'm just going to tell him to dial down the sexiness.

The first Creed film was previously directed by Ryan Coogler and Steven Caple Jr., who directed the second installment. It has been made unclear if Jordan's mentor in the film, the one and only Rocky Balboa played by Sylvester Stallone, will return. The franchise is familiar where the stars took over as the director. Stallone directed Rocky II, III, IV and 2006's Rocky Balboa, but it has not been stated when the film's production will begin.
