'Million Dollar Listing New York' Returns With New Antics, Fresh Faces & Big Career Moves | CPTV

Tyler Whitman is going from rookie to top dog on his sophomore season of Million Dollar Listing New York.

Season nine is following high-end realtors as they battle the toughest market yet!

The cameras capturing Fredrik Eklund as moves to Los Angeles, Ryan Serhant as he opens up his own real estate company, and the four men welcoming new broker Kirsten Jordan to the family.

Tyler Whitman opened up on Jordan's introduction to the cut-throat show.

"Kirsten brings a lot to the table. She's a very, very powerful person and I'm excited that she's here. She brings a big dynamic to the show that I think we've been missing, so it's exciting to have her," Whitman said.

The one-year reality show vet also offered advice to Jordan as he moves up from last year's rookie status.

"You feel like people really want us to come back and the fans are awesome. That was actually the thing I was really nervous about coming on the show, I was like,
'Are they gonna be mean?'
But the fans are amazing. There's a few meanies, but they're mainly amazing."

The real estate industry in New York hit a horrific rough patch last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"New York City got hit so hard by the pandemic that what we actually experienced were a ton of people wanting to sell, but the buyers were not there to meet it and so, you know, it was tough times for us. It was actually the hardest market I've ever worked in my career."

While he negotiated tough deals this past year, Whitman promises a lot of fun and impressive sales on the show and in his professional life.

"I've grown and changed a lot in my own way of thinking and my confidence, so it's exciting that that resulted in some nice, juicy sales."

The ninth season of Million Dollar Listing New York premieres May 6th on Bravo.
