Monique Samuels solidified her icon status with her charming personality and sharp reads on The Real Housewives of Potomac.
"I just want to always be me. I want to always be real. I want to be approachable and I want to be relatable. I'm so humbled. You have no idea how much it warms my heart," Samuels said.
Now, the star has made her triumphant return to TV in her OWN show Love & Marriage: DC.
"Why [am I] coming back? Well... why not?! You didn't really get all of me the first time around. My mission is still what it is. I want to bring a beautiful, real black family to TV, so that we can show you that the stereotypes aren't true. Yes, we have moments. Yes, we have issues... but we know how to work through them in a very nice way. This time, you get to see the whole person."
