Morbius Has Been Pushed Back A 7th Time

The anticipated film Morbius, starring Jared Leto, has yet again been postponed to for a seventh time. The movie was supposed to hit theaters January 28th, 2022, but now has a new set date for April 1st, 2022.

Hopefully it won't be an April Fool's joke as Morbius seems to have a variety amount of reasons for being delayed. Fans are skeptical to believe the wait is due to the Omicron variant surging. With Spider-Man: No Way Home crashing the box office, Disney's Marvel Cinematic Universe and Sony's Universe has more to work with, considering the "multiverse is real".

Rumors are speculating with hopes to see Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man make an appearance. Theories have begun circulating that Garfield will most likely be in the post-credit scene. The Morbius trailers also hint at the connection between the universes. Characters such as Tom Hardy's Venom is mentioned, Tobey Macguire's Spider-Man is on a poster with "murderer" graffitied over it, Rhino and Black Cat headlined on The Daily Bugle newspaper, and Michael Keaton's Vulture has a quick chat with Leto.

Morbius is about Dr. Michael Morbius trying to cure himself from a rare blood disease with his own expertise of biochemistry. The treatment he used included electroshock as well as vampire bats. The operation took a turn for the worst, as his blood condition was cured but his body was altered into a vampire-like figure. This anti-hero will make his debut for the big screen April 1st.
