Neil Patrick Harris Stars in Netflix Series 'Uncoupled'

Uncoupled | Official Teaser | Netflix

Neil Patrick Harris and Darren Star are proving they're the romcom dream team we didn't know we needed.

Harris stars in the newest show from "Sex and the City" and "Emily in Paris" creator, Darren Star. "Uncoupled" follows Michael (Harris) after his husband of seventeen years unexpectedly leaves him. The show's description teases,

"Michael thought his life was perfect until his husband blindsides him by walking out the door after 17 years. Overnight, Michael has to confront two nightmares — losing what he thought was his soulmate and suddenly finding himself a single gay man in his mid-forties in New York City."

The series also stars Tisha Campbell as Michael’s business partner, Suzanne; Emerson Brooks as TV weatherman Billy; Brooks Ashmanskas as art dealer Stanley; and Marcia Gay Harden as a socialite named Claire.

Harris' last starring role in a series was in Netflix's "Series of Unfortunate Events." Unlike Michael's relationship, his marriage to David Burtka is going strong, as the two just celebrated their eighteenth anniversary together.

"Uncoupled" debuts July 29 on Netflix. Check out the trailer above!
