Away | Official Trailer | Netflix

Fans have been anticipating the trailer for Away for quite a while, and finally the wait is over. Find out what we know about Away through its action packed trailer!

Starring Hilary Swank as Emma Green, the trailer opens up with her giving her daughter (Talitha Bateman) a bracelet that holds three immensely important charms. These include the Earth, the Moon, and Mars. Viewers later find out that Green is being sent on a mission to Mars. The catch? The mission is set to last three long years. As the trailer progresses, we see that Green's family begins to struggle without her and her mission begins to go a bit awry. Green's husband (Josh Charles) is shown to collapse in the kitchen and end up in the hospital just shortly after she begins her journey to Mars. Viewers can hear Green tell her fellow astronauts how broken she feels about not being with her family. She says:

"They need me more than anyone and I'm not there."

The trailer also shows fans that there will be multiple storylines covered in the show, including those of the other astronauts on the mission. Some of the cast members of the new show include Mark Ivanir, Ato Essandoh, Ray Panthaki, Vivian Wu, and Monique Curnen. Away is set to be full of action, sci-fi, and most importantly will cover a story of how necessary human connection truly is.
