Tom Holland

The new film, starring Tom Holland, is set to premiere September 16th!

Entertainment Weekly's exclusive first look at the new film.

Netflix's drama The Devil All The Time has an epic all-star cast, including Tom Holland, Bill Skarsgård, Riley Keough, Jason Clarke, Mia Wasikowska, Robert Pattinson, Sebastian Stan, Haley Bennett, and Eliza Scanlen.

Director Antonio Campos, who previously directed Simon Killer and Christine, said to Entertainment Weekly:

"It's a multi-strand narrative set between the end of World War II and the beginning of America's involvement in Vietnam in which a motley group of characters' lives all intersect."

Campos wrote the screenplay with his brother Paulo, and it is based on Donald Ray Pollock's 2011 family saga. The film is set in rural Ohio but was filmed in Alabama.

An Inside Look

Campos shared his thoughts about working with Hollywood's leading men, like Holland, who stars as the film's lead:

"Tom is a very sweet person and a very generous actor but he's willing to go wherever he needs to go emotionally for the character," says Campos. "He wanted to go where he had to go. Tom's electric. He's sort of sitting there doing nothing and is immensely watchable."

Campos also discussed working with The Lighthouse star Pattinson:

"Rob prepared a bunch of ideas and you don't know what you're going to get but it's all interesting. The character coming to life — I saw that in front of me when we were on set."

The film is set to premiere on Netflix September 16th.
