As this new year approaches, so does new seasons of your favorite hit shows along with brand new ones! Check out what to know below:

The Bachelor will be returning to our screens in January! Not only is the show premiering its 25th season, but for the first it will also have a black leading man. Chris Harrison spoke more about this:

"Matt James was our early announcement as The Bachelor and is an absolute layup of a choice. He is an amazing guy and I can't wait for you guys to get to know him."

The Bachelor is set to return on Jan. 4 on ABC!

Tim Allen will also be kicking of the 9th and final season of his hit show Last Man Standing. This season will even feature a special appearance from Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor from Allen's classic show, Home Improvement.

Jonathan Adams spoke about what fans can expect from these new episodes. He shared:

"It's going to be a lot of fun. We have some fun guest stars and we got some fun things that will be going on. The writers are so inventive and so creative and they are having a really good time. It's going to be a blast."

Last Man Standing will be returning Jan. 7 on Fox.

Also on Fox, Mayim Bialik is giving a fans a brand new show about a 39-year-old single woman who leaves her job to open up a cat cafe. Bialik is also reuniting with her Big Bang Theory co-star, Jim Parsons, on the show as Parsons will act as executive producer!

Bialik's co-star, Kyla Pratt. shared what fans should know about the show. She says:

"It's a comedy, it's what we need right now... to just come and sit down and watch shows that help us escape and make us laugh. Shows that remind us that there are always things to smile about. I'm really excited that we can star off our brand new year with something like 'Call Me Kat.'

Call Me Kat premieres January 7th on Fox!

On Wednesday, audiences got their first look at Kate, a new action movie that stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead as an assassin with 24 hours to live. This dynamic thriller is Netflix's most recent foray into the action genre after the success of Gunpowder Milkshake last month.
