Here's A Sneak Peek At The Oak Ridge Boys' New Country-Gospel Album

8077 Sneak Peek

The Oak Ridge Boys are back and better than ever! The country group has been inspiring fans with their soulful country music for decades and their new album is fit for the times.

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Grand Ole Opry members are celebrating a huge milestone this year.

The country vocal-quartet is celebrating the 40th anniversary of their iconic hit "Elvira" by releasing their new album, Front Porch Singin'.

"'Elvira' came around and completely rearranged what we were doing. 'Elvira' kept going for The Oak Ridge Boys and is still going today," Duane Allen said.
"The whole idea was to sing a bunch of songs like The Oak Ridge Boys are sitting on the front porch. Let's sing some old gospels, some new gospels, maybe some old country, [and] some new country," Joe Bonsall said.

The band has been keeping busy during the pandemic, even performing at an empty Grand Ole Opry in Nashville to raise spirits of new and old country music lovers alike.

They can't wait to get back on the road and perform for their passionate fans again, with plans to sing at multiple concert venues this coming year to inspire hope and healing.

"I think we've all been through the same thing, and we're all wanting to recover together," Allen said.

"Life is beautiful when you want it to be," William Lee Golden said.

"We feel [this music] will touch people's hearts and help people in this time that we're living in," Richard Sterban said.

Front Porch Singin' is available now.
