Olivia Rodrigo Visits The White House To Encourage Vaccinations

Olivia Rodrigo and President Biden

Olivia Rodrigo visited the White House on Wednesday to speak on the importance of young people getting vaccinated against COVID-19. "Good 4 u", Olivia!

Rodrigo's song "driver's license" is certified triple platinum and holds the record for the longest running number-one for a debut single. She is easily one of the biggest stars in music right now. With that being said, President Joe Biden made a calculated decision in inviting Rodrigo to the White House.

At the White House, Rodrigo used her platform to spread the word about young people getting vaccinated.

"I am in awe of the work President Biden and Dr. Fauci have done and was happy to help lend my support to this important initiative."

In their meeting, Rodrigo and President Biden recorded videos to promote youth vaccinations. One of the videos was shared on the White House's Twitter account and there are other videos that are allegedly set to be released on Rodrigo's social media as well.

In addition to the short video clip encouraging young people to get vaccinated, Rodrigo went the extra mile. She took to Instagram to share a photo of her and the president. The photo was accompanied by a lengthy caption that urges young people to get vaccinated. Rodrigo concluded the caption with an emphatic plea typed in all caps: "EVERYONE GET VAXED IT'S SO IMPORTANT" followed by a pink heart emoji.

President Biden then shared photos from the visit on his instagram as well. The photos feature the pair posing with sunglasses on. In the caption, Biden thanked Rodrigo for visiting and encouraging young people to get vaccinated.
