From cliffhangers to a ton of action, Outer Banks served as a much needed escape during the height of quarantine.

Coming into the second season, Elizabeth Mitchell has joined the cast as a new character, Carla Limbrey. She's a very wealthy and powerful woman who has it out for the Pogues and is ready to stir things up.

"We have the gorgeous kids on the run, right? We have the gorgeous kids struggling with love. As usual for Outer Banks, it's nonstop action. It looks like a blockbuster Hollywood movie to me. They do such an incredible job," Mitchell said.
