Outlander fans rejoice! The beloved historical drama is finally back.

Season six isn't holding back.

Fans have been eagerly waiting for new episodes since the emotional finale last season. While production was delayed due to COVID-19, Jamie and the rest of the cast are finally returning to the screen once again.

"We do want to apologize for the extra long 'droughtlander,' but we think you will not be disappointed because the season really does start hit the ground running," Sophie Skelton said.

After a poignant season five finale, the new season of Outlander picks up with the American Revolution on the horizon.

"Season five... the way that ended brings a certain tension around the family. You've also got the impending American Revolution ahead and only a few people know about it," Richard Rankin said.

In upcoming episodes, the Fraser family is also starting to crack with some traumatic moments in store.

"We've seen Fergus overcome handicap and then for some reasons that I cannot reveal right now, he's going to be transported right back into the atrocities that he witnessed as a child," César Domboy said.

Outlander premieres Sunday, March 6th, on STARZ.
