Mobius Will Return In Season Two

When Disney's original series Loki aired Summer 2021, Owen Wilson quickly stole the show. His character Mobius became a fan favorite, an impressive feat next to a Tom Hiddleston performance.

The end of the first season saw Mobius "pruned", imprisoning him in another plane of existence known as "the void". While being pruned isn't the same as death, audiences were still worried about the future of Mobius in the series.

Now, Owen Wilson has answered their questions himself...literally. In WIRED's "Autocomplete Interview" where celebrities answer the most searched questions about themselves, Wilson was met with the question, "Is Owen Wilson coming back to Loki?" To which the actor answered,

"Yes, he is coming back to Loki. And I think we're gonna start filming that pretty soon. I had a great time working on Loki. I really enjoyed Tom Hiddleston and all the people on that."

In typical Marvel fashion, season one ended with the teaser, "Loki Will Return In Season 2". The status of the rest of the cast is still unknown, but we can probably expect the return of Sophia Di Martino (Sylvie), as her role was so critical to the first season's story.

Loki was nominated for a 2022 Screen Actors Guild Award, and also stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Lauren Revard, Tara Strong, Neil Ellice and Sarafina King. While no release date is set for season two, Wilson did confirm that filming would begin soon.

Loki is available to stream on Disney+.
