Spongebob's best friend Patrick Star is getting his own show entitled The Patrick Star Show, according to a Deadline exclusive.

A spin-off from the legendary cartoon Spongebob Squarepants created by the late Stephen Hillenburg is in the works at Nickelodeon with a 13-episode order all about Patrick, famously voiced by Bill Fagerbakke.

The show will feature the sea-star as the host of his own talk show featuring his family members and hopefully some familiar sponges, squids, and squirrels. Fans are excited to hear from the beloved character and gain some insight into what it's like living under a rock, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, and if mayonnaise really is an instrument or not.

Deadline shared the exciting exclusive on Twitter with a gif of the star encapsulating how we all feel about the news.

Things are busy in Bikini Bottom as another Spongebob Squarepants spin-off, Kamp Koral, was announced in early 2019 for CBS All Access. The series acts as a prequel to the parent series and is expected to premiere this year.

We can't wait to see the beloved characters in a whole new way!
