It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas... thanks to Pentatonix!

Joy to the world!

Pentatonix has become one of the best selling groups of holiday music in history. Now, the a capella group has released their sixth festive album, Evergreen, to help kick off the holidays.

"Christmas music is so important to families. It's the soundtrack to their memories growing up. For us to be able to make art that people associate with some of their best memories with their families... it's just an honor," Scott Hoying said.
"I feel like most of our Christmas albums are pop leaning. We decided for this one... let's try something a little bit different. It made for a truly joyous, beautiful experience because it was one of the first times that we got to get together in the studio since COVID started. We had such a blast making [Evergreen]," Kevin Olusola said.

The group is also following in the footsteps of legends like Smokey Robinson and Gladys Knight by starring in the annual Christmas Under the Stars special on BYUtv.

"It's such an incredible experience. First of all, it's such an honor to be in the class with those incredible artists. It's a lot in one special and we're really proud of it," Matt Sallee said.

Christmas Under the Stars premieres Sunday, December 5th, on BYUtv and will repeat several times including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

However, many PTX fans will be able to witness the Christmas magic in person as the band heads out on tour this month!

"Touring was such a big part of our lives for so many years. It felt like home being on tour. We haven't been on tour in almost two years and so we are so excited," Hoying said.

Check out Pentatonix's website for upcoming tour dates and to stream Evergreen now.
