Potential 'Pretty Little Liars' Reboot In The Works

Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa is spearheading a Pretty Little Liars reboot.

Just when you thought you'd see the last of "A," think again.


Freeform's Pretty Little Liars may be returning to your television screen once again. The popular series that lasted for seven seasons may be picked back up by Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. Although the project has not been linked to a TV network, HBO Max is the main consideration for the show's home.

The show that aired from 2010 to 2017 is rumored to have a new set of characters and plot. Many of the logistics are still unknown, including whether the original creator I. Marlene King or stars Lucy Hale, Shay Mitchell, Ashley Benson, or Trioan Bellisario will return.

The show celebrated its 10-year anniversary on June 8th with some cast members sharing to their Instagram feeds to reminisce on the show and show their gratitude.

Lucy Hale posted a compilation of photos with the caption:

HAPPY 10 YEARS OF PLL! This show changed my life. Eternally grateful and always proud of what we accomplished ❤️

Ashley Benson also joined in on the excitement, saying:

THR confirmed the news of the Pretty Little Liars reboot. Although there are still many uncertainties regarding the fate of the series, there are behind-the-scenes works planning for the show's revival.
