Prince Harry and Prince William have been brought together for the first time publicly since the funeral of Prince Philip back in April.

The occasion that spurred the royal reunion was the unveiling of a statue at Kensington Palace that depicts the late Princess Diana, their beloved mother, with her arms extended around two children.

In a statement regarding the statue, Kensington Palace said that it's meant to represent the "universality and generational impact of the princess' work."

The relationship between the brothers has been strained since Prince Harry departed from his royal family roles 2020 and his highly publicized Oprah interview with wife Meghan Markle, wherein the couple condemned Markle's unfair treatment by the royal family and press.

Prince Harry and Prince William's Statement:

The statue's unveiling today marks what would have been Princess Diana's 60th birthday.
