Mark Anthony Morales, better known as Prince Markie Dee of the famous 80's hip-hop trio the Fat Boys, has passed away at age 52.
The news of the rapper's death was confirmed yesterday by his manager Louis Gregory, posting his grievances on Twitter. "Forever in my Heart," his friend wrote.

Sirius XM's Rock the Bell channel, where the artist hosted a radio show, also announced on Thursday that he passed suddenly but did not mention a cause of death. The radio channel also shared their mourning on Twitter.

Today, Feb. 19, is also Morales' birthday. He would have been 53.
Markie had a wonderful career, beginning in the 1980's with pioneering his rap group in Brooklyn. After the group parter their ways, Prince Markie continued to write and produce. He went on to co-found the production company Soul Conventions, working with other artists such as Mariah Carey, Ariana Grande, Drake, Frank Ocean, and much more.
