The Royal Family

Queen Elizabeth II's granddaughter, Princess Beatrice, is expecting her first child with husband Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi!

The royal couple married in July of 2020, and are now entering their next chapter.

The announcement came on Twitter this morning from the official Royal Family page. According to the tweet, "The Queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news."

While this will be Beatrice's first baby, it will not be her parents' first grandbaby. Her sister, Eugenie, gave birth to her son August in February of this year.

Beatrice's child will be the queen's 12th grandchild.

The royal baby's gender has yet to be revealed, but it will arrive in autumn.

Congratulations to Beatrice and Edoardo!
