Rampant Drops New Breakup Banger 'Get Away'

Rampant Drops New Breakup Banger 'Get Away' | Celebrity Page
Up-and-coming DJ duo, Rampant, just dropped their latest single ahead of spring break!

Rampant's new single, "get away," dives into a complicated relationship we can all relate to!

Jake Weinbaum and Chris Disney make up the DJ duo and use their blended talents to create music that's already attracted a fanbase.

"Jake and I have been friends since first grade. We've been friends forever," Disney said.

"He's singing, I'm playing guitar, we can play piano and I think the pop range is what we're going for," Weinbaum said.

Rampant has already gained attraction on streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple for their previous released singles, including "Do You Wanna" and "Addicted."

In the middle of lockdown, the best friends came together to write "get away," following Chris' real-life breakup.

"During the pandemic, we weren't seeing each other anymore. There was definitely a period of time where I was in my feelings a little bit," Disney said.

However, with vaccines rolling out and music venues opening up slowly, there may be a light at the end of this dark tunnel. With a tough year hopefully coming to a close, the duo looked back on the simpler times while picking up gigs at Arizona State University.

"When we were in college, we had school and music! Those were are two worries. We didn't take it for granted, but we do miss it," Weinbaum said.

"get away" is available now on all streaming platforms. You can check it out here!
