Return Of Mandalorain, Ariana Grande and More On This Week's The Dish

Grab a plate, we're serving up the best headlines.

There's never an uneventful week for entertainment and this week is no different. Here's a few headlines we're highlighting for this week's The Dish!

First up, The Mandalorian returns to Disney Plus for season two, with a new episode premiering each week.

Watch the season preview:

The new episodes will become available each Friday and will continue the story of Mando as he faces the Jedi while accompanied by none other than baby Yoda.

Jon Favreau, the creator of the show, teased a familiar creature that may be seen in the new season. Gamorreans were a part of the original Star Wars series and are recognized as the guards for Jabba the Hutt.

Next, Latinx creators in Hollywood are calling for change in an open letter written for the conclusion of Hispanic Heritage Month.

Latinx talent and creatives make up a large part of the entertainment industry hopefuls as they find it difficult to kickstart projects themselves. Chilean-born actor Pedro Pascal who plays Mando in Mandalorian is one of few Latinx leading men.

Hamilton writer, Lin Manuel Miranda is one of the Latinx writers calling for diversity in Hollywood production teams. Above all else, Miranda has been encouraging citizens to use their voice and vote for protections of rights for the Latinx community.

Last but not least, today is a big day for Ariana Grande thanks to the release of her highly anticipated album 'Positions'. The project will go in the books as the singer's sixth studio album and received a fairly quick release.

Grande surprised Arianators with the announcement of the album early this month before releasing the song 'Positions' as the lead single.

This album goes back to Grande's roots in sound mixing while also providing a fresh take on healing from love.

What's your favorite track from the album?!

Congrats to Ariana!
