Sam Hunt's wife has filed to end their 5-year marriage, citing infidelity as the reason.

Hannah Lee Fowler claims in legal documents obtained by TMZ that Hunt is "guilty of inappropriate marital conduct and guilty of adultery."

The boilerplate code section Fowler cites reads, "The husband is guilty of such cruel and inhuman treatment or conducts toward the spouse as renders cohabitation unsafe or improper."

Fowler and Hunt had yet to announce they were expecting their first child together, but she revealed her May due date in the documents.

She is requesting transitional alimony, rehabilitative alimony, and alimony in the future. She also asked to be named the primary residential guardian of the pair's baby-to-be, along with seeking child support.

Fowler sought "the parties to be awarded their respective separate property," indicating that the couple might have agreed on a prenup before tying the knot.

The now-estranged couple got engaged in January 2017, after dating on and off for almost a decade. They exchanged vows in Hunt's Georgia hometown in April 2017. Amid the coronavirus pandemic, the "Hard to Forget" singer hinted that he and Fowler had plans to expand their family.

"We've really started thinking about it seriously here these past few months, so that's on the agenda right now, and I'm hoping that we'll have some good news sooner than later," he told Audacy's TC and Dina B in July 2021.

One month after teasing his future as a father, the Grammy nominee pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor DUI charges following his 2019 arrest in Nashville. He was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days in jail during a virtual hearing, with his third count of an open container violation being dismissed.
