Sean Connery

We're reporting on some sad news this morning: one of the greatest actors of all time, Sean Connery, has passed away at the age of 90.

Connery's family confirmed the news to BBC this morning. According to the report, Connery passed away in his sleep in the Bahamas.

According to his son, Connery had been "unwell for some time."

Known for his iconic roles including the original 007 in the James Bond movies, Jim Malone in The Untouchables, Daniel Dravot in The Man Who Would Be King, and many more. The star was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2000.

Born in Fountainbridge, and neighborhood of Edinburgh, Scotland, Connery was a Scot through and through. With his iconic accent vocal activism for an independent Scotland, there will never be a Scot quite like Connery.

With a career spanning several decades, Connery's life and work has touched countless lives, and the internet is reacting to the news of his passing.

We at Celebrity Page TV mourn the loss of Connery, and we are sending thoughts and prayers to his family and friends during this time.
