Just In: Trump says he will not participate in a virtual debate.

It's been a rocky year as far as politics go, and amid the result of the first presidential debate and Trump's recent COVID-19 diagnosis, the Commission on Presidential Debates announced that the second debate with be virtual. After the announcement, President Trump said he will not participate in a virtual debate with Joe Biden.

In a phone interview with FOX Business' Maria Bartiromo, the president shared that he made the decision to axe a virtual debate:

"I heard that the commission a little while ago changed the debate style, and that's not acceptable to us...No, I'm not going to waste my time with a virtual debate."

After the announcement was made by the Commission, the Biden campaign shared with ABC News that they will participate in a virtual debate:

"Vice President Biden looks forward to speaking directly to the American people and comparing his plan for bringing the country together and building back better with Donald Trump's failed leadership on the coronavirus that has thrown the strong economy he inherited into the worst downturn since the Great Depression."

The Trump campaign also shared that instead of participating in the second debate, Trump will hold a rally.
