Judi Evans Is Back As Bonnie In 'Days Of Our Lives'! | Celebrity Page

Days Of Our Lives fans are going to be in for a huge surprise! Join Sonia Isabelle and Soap Opera Digest Editorial Director Stephanie Sloane as they break down the news from your favorite soap operas.

The Soap Opera Queen Is Back!

Judi Evans was diagnosed with COVID-19 in early June, but now she has made a full recovery and is back and better than ever! Soap Opera Digest Editorial Director Stephanie Sloane spilled to Sonia Isabelle about her recovery and some great news for Days of Our Lives fans:

"Judi's first character, Adrienne, was killed off last November but now she's back as the second role she created, Bonnie Lockhart. Judi tells me that she was devastated when Adrienne was killed off, but she's so honored and grateful that the show brought her back. Judi teases that Bonnie will be a little different this time around, but she will still have the hots for Bryan Dattilo's Lucas. Judi says to be part of the Days family at her age, 55, and that they keep inviting her back is beyond her wildest dreams."

Steve Burton Makes Return To General Hospital

Sloane also spilled to Isabelle about Steve Burton's return to General Hospital, saying:

"Steve tells us that he was actually threatened multiple times on Twitter when he left General Hospital and moved over to Young and the Restless as Dylan. But he says it came at a time in his life when he needed a change and having a new role gave him a fresh perspective. When the time came for him to return to General Hospital's Jason, he said it felt like he was coming home and was able to appreciate the opportunity to have a second chance. Now Steve's mantra is 'Do your job and be grateful.'"
