Our Sonia Isabelle got the latest soap opera news from Soap Opera Digest editorial director Stephanie Sloane.

First off, two of your favorite soap opera stars are back. Alison Sweeney and Cameron Mathison are back and better than ever in Hallmark's newest mystery. The two previously starred in the Murder, She Baked film series and now they're reprising their roles as Hannah and Mike in Sweet Revenge: A Hannah Swensen Mystery.

Sweeney couldn't contain her excitement in a statement where she said:

"I'm so excited to revisit Hannah Swensen and to again work with Cameron and Barbara on these fun stories that combine romance with intrigue. The fans have been so vocal in their love of these characters and it's exciting to be bringing them back to life and to return to Hannah's bakery where it all began."

Mathison doubled down on the excitement, claiming even he didn't know who the killer was until he read the script.

In other news, The Bold and The Beautiful star Katherine Kelly Lang just celebrated her 60th birthday. Yes, you read that right. Believe it or not, the actress has been a series regular on B&B since 1987. In those 34 years, Lang has racked up 10 Soap Opera Digest Award nominations and four Daytime Emmy Award nominations. Happy Birthday Katherine!
