Headlining the Soaps world, Sean Kanan is making his big return to one of his signature roles from The Bold and the Beautiful, and Victoria's big wedding on The Young and the Restless will be coming to a head. We spoke with Soap Opera Digest's editorial director Stephanie Sloane to get even more of an inside look into what Soaps fans have in store this week.

Sean's infamous character, Deacon Sharpe, is coming back after his four year hiatus. Sean took to Twitter to announce his dramatic return to the Bold and Beautiful cast on October 6. The last time Deacon was on screen was back in 2017, so his reappearance comes as quite the surprise for fans.

Sean told Soap Opera Digest just how happy he was to be making his return to the B&B studio, saying he 'had the biggest smile on his face while driving through the CBS gates' and it 'felt like coming home'.

For his return, Deacon is pairing up with another devious character, Sheila, played by Kimberlin Brown. Sean has not worked with Kimberlin prior to this year, so this new duo is definitely going to stir things up. Sean told Soap Opera Digest that he's excited to work with Kimberlin, and has always admired her professionally and personally.

Stephanie also has some exciting storyline updates about the sister show of B&B, The Young and the Restless. Ashland and Victoria's wedding day will finally be arriving, but the big question is whether or not Victoria will actually follow through with it after realizing the truth behind Ashland's past. Kyle and Summer are also making their returns for this episode of The Y&R, along with Leslie.

Checking in with Days of Our Lives, Ben and Ciara will be attempting to start their family as they try to conceive in this week's episode.

Get ready Netflix fans! The platform just announced that two of its biggest stars are joining together for their newest movie.

Netflix revealed to TODAY that their latest film project is bringing Joey King, from The Kissing Booth, and Chase Stokes, from Outerbanks, together to play the two lead roles.

The new movie is an adaptation based off of the hit young adult sci-fi series Uglies by Scott Westerfield. Rumors about a film adaptation for the series have been circulating since the first novel's release, so Netflix's announcement comes as quite the pleasant surprise for fans.

Netflix had already teased that King was joining the cast for Uglies, however Stokes' involvement in the production was completely unknown until Tuesday. Along with announcing Stokes as the latest addition to the cast, Brianne Tju, from MTV's Scream, and Keith Powers, from the Freeform drama Famous in Love, will also be joining.

Uglies takes place in a dystopian society where beauty standards are taken to whole new extremes. Instead of getting your driver's permit at 16, teenagers are instead forced to get a complete reconstructive surgery, making them absolutely flawless--but that seems to be the flaw.

King is set to play the main protagonist of the film, Tally Youngblood, who will do literally anything to avoid her surgery. The roles of Stokes, Tju, and Powers still have yet to be released.

Uglies will be directed by Joseph McGinty Nichol, also known as McG, and Krista Vernoff is heading the screenplay adaptation. King will be executive producing the film alongside Jamie King, John Fox, and Scott Westerfield himself.

A premiere date for Uglies has yet to be disclosed.
