Jacqueline MacInnes Wood's Big Year
2020 was an up and down year for all of us, but B&B star Jacqueline MacInnes Wood tells Soap Opera Digest that she made the most out of an unprecedented year. According the Sloane, the star "did a vision board at the beginning of 2020, and despite everything that happened in the world, a lot of it came true."
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is pregnant with baby #2, and when B&B resumed production after the quarantine, her character Steffy tackled a difficult topic, as she becomes addicted to opioids. Sloane also shares with us that her pregnancy has been written into the storyline, so she won't have to hide her baby bump.
Similarities Between Characters
For any actor, finding similarities with a character strengthens the essence of the role. Some of the biggest soap stars shared what they have in common with their characters. Sloane tells us that "For Days of our Lives' Mary Beth Evans its a love of family and children and the fact that she and Kayla would do anything for them. Bold & Beautiful's John McCook says that he and Eric both have the ability to forgive, while he costar Tanner Novlan says he and Finn have a big heart and like to see the best in people."
Plot Points And Casting Updates
With so many moving parts in the world of soap operas, Stephanie Sloane breaks down the latest moves and plot points. For Days of our Lives, she says "Gwen's secret will finally be revealed on Days of our Lives, and Jamie Lynn Boer is heading back to that soap as Laura.
For Y&R, Sloane shares, "Young and Restless' Abbey will get bad news about her chances of conceiving."
Lastly, for B&B, Sloane tells us, "On The Bold and Beautiful, Hope will turn to Thomas for a little TLC."
