Soap Opera Digest's editorial director Stephanie Sloane is back with our Sonia Isabelle to talk about Eric Braeden's interview & the first impressions that new stars had when meeting their on screen partners!

Eric Braeden's Revealing Interview

Eric Braeden turned 80 last month, but the word "retirement" is not even contemplated in his vocabulary. Sloane shares:

"He says it surprises him how much that is a relief to fans, but it also makes him happy that it is. Eric says he's grateful to have been paired with Melody Thomas Scott for so many years."

Essentially, Braeden is not going anywhere.

First Impressions From New Stars

Bold and Beautiful's Delon de Metz told Sloane that John McCook was very sweet and inviting. Sloane says:

"John was the first one to welcome Delon into the family and Delon says he really wanted to impress him."

And Days Of Our Lives's Lindsay Arnold said she was nervous to meet her on screen mom Alison Sweeney:

"But Ally welcomed her with a bug hug and a smile."

Courtney Hope confessed that when she came to Young And The Restless...

"She discovered a sweet and down to earth guy, her co-star Michael Mealor. Courtney says he's so honest and doesn't put on any errors and she really appreciates that."
