Up first in the latest issue, Days of Our Livesdebuts a casting change. The role of "Jennifer" whom was previously played by Melissa Reeves, will now be played by Cady Mcclain beginning October, 30th. Mcclain is best known to fans of daytime for her portrayal of "Dixie" on All My Children.

The actress told Sloane that she is excited to be back to work following the COVID-19 shutdown which put television productions on pause for over six months. Mcclain has said she has studied all that she can to step in to the role knowing fans may take time to adjust.

Earlier this week, Days of Our Lives announced they would be taking a two week production hiatus after a crew member tested positive for the Coronavirus. Episode are filmed far in advance so the production's pause shouldn't affect the show.

Meanwhile, over at The Young and the Restless, fans are saying goodbye to Marla Adams. After 37 years of appearing on and off, Adams is making her final exit.

"Dina's Farewell"

The actress had been brought back to the show in 2017 with the expectation that her roll would be killed off after a year. "Y&R" fans loved her storyline so much, the show decided to keep her around longer.
